THE
TWO MINDS
We have two minds, the
one we started out with and the one God has given us. The sinful
mind is the one we were conceived and born with and the spiritual
mind is the one God gave us when we gave our lives over to Jesus
Christ.
There are definite
characteristics of both. We war against God or we war against sin.
Both take certain attributes to accomplish either task. Both are
clearly discussed in the Word of God.

We see bumper stickers
that say things like; "You are what you eat." or "You
are what you drive.". In Biblical reality, "You are what
you think.” Titus 1:15;
There is a
characteristic of the spiritual mind that is of great importance to
the ones who are called the sons and daughters of God. That is
"meditation" on the things of God. Unlike the carnal mind,
we are called to meditate and also we are to "naturally"
delight in the contemplation and the thinking upon the things of God.
